Yayasan Warisan Johor
Yayasan Warisan Johor, is the centre of excellence in history, heritage, art and culture of the state of Johor besides playing a role as a major stakeholder in exhibiting and disseminating the uniqueness of Johor culture for providing information to the society.
After receiving the command of His Majesty, Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, the Johor Heritage Foundation which previously operated in Jalan Mariamah has moved to a more visible and strategic complex in the heart of Johor Bahru.
It was later proclaimed as the Sultan Abu Bakar Heritage Complex by His Majesty, Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar on 18 November 2018.
KOMPLEKS WARISAN SULTAN ABU BAKAR
Located at Jalan Sungai Chat, Johor Bahru, Kompleks Warisan Sultan Abu Bakar (KWSAB) was inaugurated by DYMM Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar on 18 November 2018. Apart from being the main administrative center of Yayasan Warisan Johor, KWSAB also offers 7 interesting activities to be visited by all levels of society including Johor Art Gallery, Johor Weaving Gallery, Rumah Limas Johor, Artifact Repository Centre, and Johor Documentation Centre. Apart from that, at KWSAB we have Zapin basic learning and there is also a Gastronomy Hotspot for food lovers.
